Sculpture for Idda Arena Ice Hall, Kristiansand, Norway. 2013

Movement is essential in all kinds of sport. Skating implies sharp turns, reflections and mirrorings, the fight between competing teams, the sound of thin steel on ice.

The figure invites to movement by constantly changing appearence as you walk around it. Its size relate to the human body, but it also sets up an interplay with the building. Both relations are important to create an identification with the site.

Height 4,4 meters. Painted steel
Commissioner: Kristiansand Municipality
